Desolation Hotel wanted to show the best activities available in Lake Tahoe in the winter time. We wanted to show the beautiful backcountry access that is available here in the Sierra Nevada Mountains as well as beautiful locations that are more easily accessible. 

We hired models one day for the easy access activities like snowshoeing and cross country skiing and hired professional skiers for a two day mission to Jake's Peak & Mt Tallac
